An Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations from the municipality of Debar was held on 16.06.2011 (12:00-13:00h). The Open day was an opportunity to promote the ‘Guide for the Commissions for Interethnic Relations’, and the ‘Conclusions from the conference ‘How to make the CIRs more efficient’, emerging from the project ‘Model for efficient communication between the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the citizens (MEC )’.

An Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations will be organized on Friday, 16.06.2011 (12:00-13:00) in the premises of the municipality of Debar, and a promotion of the ‘Guide for the Commissions for Interethnic Relations’.

The Open day will be organized in order to hold a meeting, establish contact and introduction between the Commission members and the citizens from the municipality of Debar. With this meeting, the interested citizens will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work and activities of the Commission for Interethnic Relations in the municipality of Debar. The citizens will also have an opportunity to inform the competent institutions about their problems and needs on a local level in order to try and find a solution for them.

On behalf of the Commission for Interethnic Relations from the municipality of Gostivar, Common Values - Skopje and the Metamorphosis Foundation, we invite all citizens who live in this municipality to contact us.

The event is organized within the framework of the project "Model for efficient communication between the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the citizens" (MEC), financed by the European Union.

A public meeting on the topic ‘Creating a work program for the Commission for Interethnic Relations in the municipality of Debar' was held on 21.02.2011 in the hall of the Council of the Municipality of Debar, within the framework of the project 'Model for efficient communication between the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the citizens'.

The public event was organized to enable active participation of the citizens and civil society sector in the creation of the CIR work program in the municipality of Debar.

On Thursday, February 17, 2011, members of the Council, the Commission for Interethnic relations and the public administration of the municipality of Debar, representatives of local NGOs and representatives of local media will participate in the public meeting on the topic: ‘Creating a work program for the Commission for Interethnic Relations in the municipality of Debar’

The public meeting will be held in the hall of the municipality of Debar (13:00-14:00).

The public event will be organized to enable active participation of the citizens and civil society sector in the creation of the CIR work program in the municipality of Debar. The public event is expected to identify the needs and priorities of the ethnic communities from the municipality of Debar, which the CIR members will take into account for the further creation of the work program of the CIR.

During the same day, an Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations will be held in the premises of the municipality of Debar (12:00-13:00).

The Open day will be organized in order to hold a meeting, establish contact and introduction between the Commission members and the citizens from the municipality of Debar.

The event is organized within the framework of the project "Model for efficient communication between the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the citizens" (MEC), financed by the European Union. The project is implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation and Common Values.

The Commission for Interethnic Relations from the municipality of Debar will organize an Open Day on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 (11:00-12:00h) in the premises of the municipality of Debar.
