An Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations was organized on 15.06.2011 (12:00-13:00) in the premises of the municipality of Chair, as well as a promotion of the ‘Guide for the Commissions for Interethnic Relations’. and the Conclusions from the conference ‘How to make the CIRs more efficient’.
The open day was attended by members of the Commission for Interethnic Relations from Chair, representatives of the municipality, the non-governmental sector and the citizens of the municipality of Chair. They had an opportunity to meet with the members of the Commission and inform them about their problems and needs on a local level in order to try and find a solution for them. They also heard the brief presentation of the ‘Guide for Commissions for Interethnic Relations’ held by Ms. Hajrije Rexhepi.
The event was covered by TV Stations MTV and ERA. The event is a follow-up of the project ‘Model for efficient communication between the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the citizens" (MEC), financed by the European Union.
