An Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations was organized on 15.06.2011 (12:00-13:00) in the premises of the municipality of Chair, as well as a promotion of the ‘Guide for the Commissions for Interethnic Relations’. and the Conclusions from the conference ‘How to make the CIRs more efficient’.

An Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations will be organized on Friday, 15.06.2011 (12:00-13:00) in the premises of the municipality of Chair, and a promotion of the ‘Guide for the Commissions for Interethnic Relations’.

On Friday, February 18, 2011, members of the Council, the Commission for Interethnic relations and the public administration of the municipality of Chair, representatives of local NGOs and representatives of local media will participate in the public meeting on the topic: ‘Creating a work program for the Commission for Interethnic Relations in the municipality of Chair’

The public meeting will be held in the hall of the municipality of Chair (13:00-14:00).

The public event will be organized to enable active participation of the citizens and civil society sector in the creation of the CIR work program in the municipality of Chair. The public event is expected to identify the needs and priorities of the ethnic communities from the municipality of Chair, which the CIR members will take into account for the further creation of the work program of the CIR.

During the same day, an Open day of the Commission for Interethnic Relations will be held in the premises of the municipality of Chair (12:00-13:00).

The Open day will be organized in order to hold a meeting, establish contact and introduction between the Commission members and the citizens from the municipality of Chair.

The event is organized within the framework of the project "Model for efficient communication between the Commissions for Interethnic Relations and the citizens" (MEC), financed by the European Union. The project is implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation and Common Values.

The third open day was held on February 4, 2011, 11:00-12:00h in the office of the Commission for Interethnic Relations in the municipality of Chair. The open day was attended by three CIR members: the representative of the Albanian community, Mukades Hajdari, the representative of the Bosnian community, Vehbija Rizvanovikj and the representative of the Macedonian community, Vasil Peovski. The event was also attended by a representative of the Metamorphosis Foundation, a representative of CA Common Values and the CIR coordinator, Lejla Alilovska.

A training on the use of Archive of cases was organized by CA Common values from Skopje in cooperation with the Metamorphosis Foundation on 20.01.2011 (11.00-13.00h) in the premises of the municipality of Chair. The training was intended for members of the Commission for Interethnic Relations - (CIR) from the municipality of Chair.

A public meeting on the topic ‘Citizens and interethnic relations - challenges and opportunities in the municipality of Chair’ was held on December 28, 2010. The public meeting was held in the Council of the municipality of Chair (13:00-14:00h).

The meeting was attended by members of the Commission for Interethnic Relations from the Municipality of Chair, executive director of the Association of the units of local self-government of the Republic of Macedonia (ZELS) Ms. Ardita Dema, and representatives from the NGO sector. The meeting was moderated by Mr. Filip Stojanovski from the Metamorphosis Foundation.

A public meeting on the topic ‘Citizens and interethnic relations - challenges and opportunities in the municipality of Chair’ will be held on December 28, 2010 (13:00-14:15h) in the hall of the Council of the Municipality of Chair.

The purpose of the meeting is to enable a discussion about the challenges and opportunities between the institutions, non-governmental organizations and ethnic communities from an aspect of interethnic relations.

The meeting will bring together local non-governmental organizations, representatives of the Commission for Interethnic Relations, representatives of the Council and public administration of the municipality of Chair, as well as representatives of the local media.

The working meeting in the municipality of Chair was held on June 22, 2010 in the premises of the municipality. The meeting was attended by representatives of the local self-government units, a representative of the department for Local economic development and members of the Commission for Interethnic Relations (CIR).
